This program allows you to budget and plan for all your home furnishing purchases by breaking down the cost of your order over a set number of payments.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • How many payments can I set up for my Layaway? You can set up as few as 2 payments or as many as 12. The maximum layaway period is 12 months. 
  • How much will each of my payments be? Your payment amounts will vary based on the price of your product and the number of payments you choose. Our team can help you calculate these details when you set up your layaway. 
  • How do I make my payments? Payments are made directly at our store or by contacting us to arrange payment. We’ll send you periodic reminders for your payments. 
  • Will payments be made automatically? No, payments are not automatically debited. You’ll need to make each payment manually by contacting or visiting our store. 
  • Can I change the amount or number of my payments? Once your layaway plan is set, the number and amount of your payments are fixed. However, you are welcome to make payments more frequently than scheduled. 
  • Do I need to make a down payment for Layaway? Yes, a first payment is required when you place a product on layaway to secure your item. Your layaway will not be saved without this initial payment. 
  • Are sales tax and delivery charges included in my payments? Yes, if applicable, sales tax and any delivery fees are included in your total layaway payment amount. 
  • What happens when I complete my payments? Once all your payments are complete, we’ll finalize your order and arrange for delivery or pickup of your furniture. You’ll receive an order confirmation. 
  • How can I find out about delivery costs? When you discuss your layaway with our team, we’ll confirm any applicable delivery charges based on your location. 
  • Which products are eligible for Layaway? Most products in our showroom are available for layaway. Please speak with our staff for specific product eligibility. 
  • Does my product need to be in-stock to be placed on Layaway? You can place an item that is currently out-of-stock on layaway. While we strive to keep our inventory updated, we cannot guarantee that a discontinued item will come back into stock. 
  • What if my product is out-of-stock when I complete my payments? If your product is out of stock upon completion of payments, you may choose to wait for it to return to stock. We will notify you if a product has been discontinued. If you prefer not to wait, you can cancel your layaway. Funds paid towards a layaway canceled due to an out-of-stock or discontinued item will be issued as store credit to be applied towards another purchase. These cancellations are not subject to a cancellation fee. 
  • Can I change the product I have on Layaway? You may cancel your current layaway purchase and start a new one. Funds applied to a canceled layaway can be applied to a new layaway purchase, but a cancellation fee of 25% of the full retail value of the original product (at the time it was placed on layaway) will apply. Please contact us directly for assistance with product changes. 
  • Can I cancel my Layaway order? If you cancel a layaway order, a cancellation fee of 25% of the full retail value of the product (at the time it was placed on layaway) will be applied. Any remaining funds paid towards your purchase will be available to you as store credit to be used for another purchase at 7 Star Furniture.
